The role and Scope:

The Project Manager – OVOC’s primary responsibility is to lead, manage and ensure smooth project  implementation in Bangladesh through  technical and managerial support to the implementing partner. This position has to closely work with civil society, youth and women led CSOs, human rights defender organizations, journalists located in different geo locations in Dhaka, Barishal  and Rangpur .  With direct reporting to head of coastal and national program, S/he also does quality monitoring of outputs and process on sample basis. This position is also responsible for ensuring the evidence-based reporting of the outputs/outcomes results of the project in compliance with guidelines and budget developed by Plan International Bangladesh and consortium lead. S/he will ensure the document of good learnings from the field for Donor and also for policy advocacy. Also responsible for ensuring work environment for the team and maintain good team work within project and also in programme.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for a passionate team member who is capable of developing and implementing gender transformative programs especially using gender mainstreaming tools across project cycles. Master’s degree preferably in social science, Sociology, Development Studies, Gender and Development, International Affairs, Law or other relevant field  with 3 – 7 years’ Experience in working on gender equality, women’s rights, child-youth rights related projects in National and /or International Organizatios. Knowledge and experience on development and management on women’s’ and girls’ empowerment is required. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement gender transformative programs especially using gender mainstreaming tools across project cycles.
