Bangladesh Government Holidays Calendar 2023 (BD Public Holidays 2023)
The cabinet approved the proposed list of 22 holidays for the 2023 calendar year on Monday, however eight of them corresponded with weekends (Fridays and Saturdays).
As per circular of Bangladesh Government, the holiday of Eid Ul Fitr is from 20 April 2023 to 23 April 2023 which may extend one more day based on appearance of the moon.
There will be 14 general holidays and eight additional holidays as a result of executive directives issued by the government. According to Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam, the decision was made at the Cabinet meeting on Monday. Next year, there will be 22 public holidays in 2023, with eight of them being weekends.”

Date of Eid ul Fitr 2023 in Bangladesh is 22 April 2023 and date of Eid ul Adha 2023 is 29 June 2023 and both of them are depends on appearance of the moon.
Date of Vijaya Dashami (Durga Puja) is 24 October 2023, Date of Buddha Purnima is 5 May 2023, And Christmas Day is 25 December 2023.
