In a recent development, the cabinet of the Bangladesh Government has given the green light to a proposed list of 22 holidays for the upcoming calendar year, 2024. However, it’s worth noting that this decision comes with the caveat that two of these holidays are set to coincide with weekends, specifically falling on Fridays. The decision from the cabinet meeting highlights the proactive approach of the Bangladesh Government in managing public holidays and making them accessible to all citizens.
