U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Financial Clerk.

Receive and process payment of all telephone bills of the Mission (e.g. Landlines, Cell phones, Tie lines etc.). Maintain database of telephone billing records. Receiving telephone bills from various sections/offices and enter in to receiving log file. Checking and sorting out all the landline and cellular phone bills inclusive of BTCL, Tie line, Grameen Phone. Preparing and maintaining of spread-sheets (Office-wise/ agency-wise as appropriate). Preparing vouchers (DS-2076) and entering data into RFMS-Momentum. Examine a variety of non-cashier vendor vouchers. Responsible for examining these vouchers to ensure adequacy of data with accompanying documents. Maintain log book for delivering checks and deposits utility checks/ telephone checks/ vendor checks to banks twice or thrice a month. Serve as a backup of the Financial Clerk. Backup for filing all vouchers other documents).
- Completion of 4 years of university degree in Commerce or related subject is required. (U.S. equivalent college studies). (You must attach a copy of your degree certificate along with your application form.)
- Minimum two years of general clerical experience including computer data input is required.
- Good working knowledge in English & Bangla (Read/Write/Speak) is required. This may be tested.
