Job Context

  • An opportunity has arisen for a Telephone Operator to join Front Office Department in Ocean Paradise Hotel & Resort, Cox’s Bazar.

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer all calls in prompt and efficient manner as per hotel standards
  • Transfer calls to the concerned or take and convey message when concerned party is not available
  • Receives guest messages and deliver the same to the guest.
  • Must be knowledgeable of the products and services of the hotel
  • To be always be updated with promotions and happenings in the hotel
  • To be able to receive, handle and convey to Duty Manager and to concerned department any requests or complaints received from guests and customers
  • To keep internal and guest confidentiality at all times
  • Regularly update hotel telephone directory list
  • Check the arrival and departure lists for in-house guests
  • Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in any discipline
  • Diploma in Hotel Management will be added an advantage.
  • Educational qualification may be relaxed for the experienced candidate.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 3 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Hotel, Resort

Additional Requirements

  • 3+ years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five star hotel environment
  • Excellent communication skill both in written & spoken in English
  • Willingness to work independently with self-direction under pressure
  • Should be smart, dynamic and attentive to details
