Job Context

Apex Footwear Limited (Unit -2) is responsible for fulfilling demand of footwear, non-footwear, leather and synthetic products through its marketing channels of approx. 250 own retail outlets, 200 franchisees outlets, wholesale/ distribution and e-commerce. Since Apex has its own manufacturing unit and has outlets all over Bangladesh so the candidate has to be detail oriented and ensure all the payments are made within the stipulated time frame.

  • Monitor and record Raw Materials, Finished Goods related bills by checking with appropriate supporting documents to drive accurate, complete, and timely cost reporting.
  • Prepare all financial reports and ensure proper reconciliation of different ledger balance to get different reports directly from system.
  • Ensure supplier Tax and VAT deduction to ensure it is compliant with the existing laws of the country.
  • Ensure the repair and maintenance expenditures of the outlets and depots along with the pass entry at system.
  • Physical visit of CDC, Factory to ensure source documents of bills and vouchers.
  • Ensure financial records are kept up to date with the latest transactions and changes.
  • Ensure Supplier account reconciliation to identify any unusual transactions and for smooth transaction.
  • Follow up the capital nature expenditure and recording of CAPEX at System for smooth operation.
  • Ensure the LC advance charges offset when LC is closed.
  • Work at office

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (MCom)
  • Preferred Professional Certification: CA(CC)
