Job Purpose:

To manage programme’s data analysis and data management initiatives through smooth manoeuvring of digitalization platforms and business intelligence tools by establishing standard data management for ensuring successful interpretation of data and data driven decision making for the programme.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To build data models and data plans through data analysis to contribute to decision making for the programme.
  • Generate data visualizations, including infographics and maps, using Power BI, Tableau or other tools.
  • Provide dedicated technical advice, design and implement data collection tools, sampling frameworks, data storage systems, and analytical products.
  • Monitor quality of collected data, perform data transformation activities, and ensure regular updates on data quality in collaboration with the MIS and M&E units.
  • Manage MIS reports for partners, donors and all relevant stakeholders through qualitative and quantitative data analysis.
  • Undertake capacity-building initiatives in relation to data management and analysis.
  • Provide need basis technical support to programme units in terms of data collection, analysis for further decision making.
  • Recommend and promote the use of data management tools within and outside the programmes.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme’s goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Preparing technical documentation.
  • Analytical and presentation skills with critical thinking ability.
  • Business intelligence and data analysis.
  • Knowledge in Software development and database development.
  • Ability of teamwork, team building and commitment integrity.
  • Flexibility in dealing with diverse tasks.

Educational Requirements:

B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) / Computer Science (CS) / Information Technology (IT) / Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) / Statistics or any other relevant discipline from any recognised university/ institution.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of working experience in Data Analysis / Database Development / Software Development / Business Analysis in any reputed software company.
