Aarong – BRAC has recently published a circular for the position of Officer/Senior Officer, Total Rewards, Human Resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation and execution of the Performance Management System, ensuring timely performance reviews, feedback sessions, and evaluations.
  • Ensure performance goals are aligned with the organization’s objectives and are communicated clearly to all employees.
  • Act as the primary contact for any performance-related queries and guide the performance appraisal process.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of performance reviews and related employee data to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, including salary calculations, benefits, taxes, and deductions, in compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Serve as the point of contact for employee payroll-related queries, providing clarification on salary, deductions, and other payroll-related matters.
  • Reconcile payroll data with the Finance department to ensure accuracy and prepare regular payroll reports for management review.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies while maintaining confidentiality of employee compensation data.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures.
  • Prepare and manage budgetary requirements for the department in alignment with organizational goals

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
  • Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise in safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Educational Requirements:

  • A graduate from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

  • For Officer position, minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience is required
  • For Senior Officer position, minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience is required

Additional Requirements:

  • Facilitate logical, well-balanced, and reasoned decisions
  • Ability to plan and execute strategic goals
  • Capability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
