JOB PURPOSE
To provide strategic, secretarial and administrative support to Director, Operations for efficient and effective conducts of day to day work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and organize meetings, conferences, workshops, etc. for the Director.
- Prepare minutes and summaries of actions to be taken, tracking of progress on planned issues, follow-up with concern persons.
- Conduct and ensure timely communication with stakeholders, government’s offices and BRAC Programmes.
- Assist and perform in administrative activities whenever delegated by the Director
- Read and Analyze incoming letters, e-mails in order to determine their importance and plan their distribution
- Preparing presentations, proofreading, editing and drafting memos, briefs, circular etc.
- Maintain e calendar regularly, checked attendance, visits to maintain transparency
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence/mails/packages etc.
- Arranging travel, visas and accommodation and, occasionally, travelling with the Director to take notes or dictation at meetings or to provide general assistance during presentations
- Organizing and maintaining diaries and making appointments.
SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment. Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

- Written and verbal skills in English and Bengali
- Efficient in Microsoft office

- Strategic sense in work
- Time management, stakeholder Management, decision making & multi-tasking
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor in any discipline from any recognized university/ institutions.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 2 years of experience in relevant field
