Senior Officer, Learning and Development, Human Resources at Aarong, Bangladesh

Aarong – BRAC has recently published a circular for the position of Senior Officer, Learning and Development, Human Resources.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conducting training needs analysis (TNA)
  • Organizing, and conducting different training programs that address specific business needs
  • Prepare annual training calendar and follow up on its implementation
  • Develop and prepare training content as per assignments
  • Assist in preparing training budgets
  • Maintain liaison with external stakeholders, i.e., training institutes, trainers, etc.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor Degree (preferably BBA in HRM)) from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic attitude, works well on teams and able to adapt quickly to a fast-moving environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage a wide range of relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
