Job Summary:

Grameenphone’s Next Business Leader program is designed to offer a fast-track career to talented fresh graduates where they can grow and become leaders of the future. Having a thorough understanding of our core business as well as future growth areas through stints in different functions, the Next Business Leader will eventually be working in roles contributing to business performance and revenue generation. The rotations within and across functions will be crucial for an accelerated learning curve and will also help develop relationships and networks across the organization that will be essential when taking on bigger responsibilities.

This role will be responsible for developing the assigned market through executing distribution and retail channel strategies, to gain maximum trade push and provide best customer experience. The NBLs will be evaluated based on their responsiveness to the on-job learning provided and how they take that learning and integrate it in their project work which will be a core part of the program plan.

To prepare for all this, the NBLs will be provided with coaching from senior leaders and industry veterans who will support building core strengths and provide regular constructive feedback. Once the program is complete, the NBL will be equipped to take on the challenges presented across the business’ physical & digital value chain and be on their way to becoming potential leaders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop designated market in collaboration with assigned partners and relevant stakeholders
  • Achieve all sales targets for the assigned market as per business plan
  • Understand local consumer behavior and analyze market demand as well as potential
  • Follow-up through regular market visits, establish trade relationship and educate the channel partners
  • Ensure optimum availability of products and promote current market offers
  • Ensure proper visibility and brand presence in the respective market
  • Manage distribution operation for assigned Distribution House (DH), develop and lead DH Sales Force


Educational Requirements:

  • Fresh graduates from any discipline (preferably STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) from a reputed university
  • Graduates with 1-2 years of work experience may apply
