MetLife Bangladesh has published a circular for the position of Executive Officer / Senior Executive Officer, Employee Benefits.

Job Scope

This role is responsible for providing overall system support for group insurance policies along with the project management collaboration with multiple/ cross functional stakeholders. These activities include creation and maintenance of group policies in the system, database maintenance, support business communications, project management, claims system issues, troubleshooting etc.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive policy admin system development, change request for current system enhancement and issue fixation including documentation tracking
  • Provide support for overall digital transformation of Employee Benefits
  • Demonstrate pro-active ownership and expertise to perform timely BAU system activities
  • Prepare upload able & validated excel version of census by reorganizing client database and update the same in system within agreed time
  • Meet specified standard timeline for policy’ service delivery for different system category including renewals
  • Coordinate with respective cross functional stakeholders for problem solving of service issues
  • Maintain, escalate & track system service issues in an organized and professional manner
  • Generate, prepare, and deliver reports and information within given time and often in short notice
  • Manage & support departmental projects with the project teams from business ends (e.g., providing business requirements, participate in UAT sessions, regression testing, providing feedbacks, field visit etc.)
  • Perform any activities related to system and manual policy maintenance

Academic Qualification

  • Graduation/ Post Graduation in any discipline from a reputed university
  • MBA/ Masters in relevant field is preferred

Relevant Past experience

  • At least 3-4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience in Project Management or Business Analysis will be preferred

  • MS Excel based database analytical & problem-solving skill

  • Sound knowledge in Microsoft-Office software to develop small tools
  • Ability to tolerate the stressful conditions in the working atmosphere
