Aarong – BRAC has recently published a circular for the position of Senior Officer, Accounts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design creative products (Men’s shoes, sandals, and other men’s leather accessories and goods) and develop the assigned product line as required
  • Contribute to yearly design planning by making relevant themes, mood boards, storyboards, color charts and presentations
  • Source leather to make proper samples keeping brands perception, themes and timelines in mind
  • Help in vendor development processes
  • Contribute to sales for target achievement
  • Monitor sales status to ensure future needs and demands of the customers
  • Develop samples and monitor from the pre-production section to delivery of samples
  • Share responsibilities for deliveries of production

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A Bachelor Degree (preferably in Leather Technology) from any reputed university

Experience Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in Men’s category design ( Leather Footwear & accessories) in a commercial organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sense of style, fashion, color and technical aspects
  • Excellent design sense
  • Ability to anticipate change in fashion trends for fashion forecasting
  • Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) will be preferred
  • Analytical ability, creativity for innovative design and conceptualization
